Alternatives For Children is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, registered with the New York State Charities Bureau, providing quality special educational and therapeutic programs and services for children (ages 6 weeks through 5 years) with varying degrees of delays or disabilities, and their typically developing peers and families.Since our beginning in 1988, Alternatives For Children, with your support, has Made a Difference in the lives of over 15,000 children and their families. Through our Early Intervention and home-based programs and at our locations in Aquebogue, East Setauket, Dix Hills, and Southampton, we have grown to serve over 600 children with disabilities annually across Long Island. |
